Old TV shows and movies I want to rewatch

Postby Luigi » Tue Jan 09, 2018 12:27 pm

I have been trying to rewatch some good old TV shows and movies I remember from my childhood and I thought a thread on old shows would be cool. First shows I remember from early childhood:

Scooby Doo: Classic, iconic. I watched this one all the time and had a vhs where Scooby goes to hollywood.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_S ... !_episodes

Berenstain Bears: kinda moral faggy but still very nostalgic for me. I had a vhs with episodes 28 and 49 on it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_T ... _TV_series)_episodes

Magic Schoolbus: I can barely remember this one but I remember they travel through a body, Arnold turns orange, and they had a good video game on windows 98.

As I got older there were a lot more cool shows: Street Sharks, Batman, Spiderman, X-Men, Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, Dragonball Z, etc.

As for movies, the main ones I remember are Disney movies, Godzilla movies, and Schwarzenegger movies. For disney movies I want to rewatch all of the ones from 1975-2000, because Im pretty sure I saw them all at least once. For Godzilla, it was the 90s so Im pretty sure I was watching the ones from the 90s so I will try to watch all the 90s godzilla movies. For Shwartzenegger movies there were a ton of great ones, but Terminator and Commando are the ones I remember best. I havent seen them in probably over 15 years but I can still recite dialogue lol I also remember we had a vhs of a Frosty the Snowman movie we would always watch at xmas and Id like to find that too.

Thats all I can think of, feel free to post any movies or shows you remember and would like to rewatch.

- I've been trying to buy Lady and the Tramp, Robin Hood and Peter Pan, all animated versions from Disney. I like to go to used stores because you find really cool gems there.

Heat with Val Kilmer is a great movie. I like the 90's Godzilla movie too! For series i am searching for Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Had an interesting question posed to me the other day;

What shows used to freak/creep you out as a kid?

My daughter recently confessed that Thomas the Train used to freak her out. The guy that asked the question said 'Frankenstein's House', which is a good call, lol

There was a part in Thomas the Tank Engine that freaked me out as a kid. There was a part where the conductors face gets covered in oil and he looks terrified and ya it was pretty freaky for 3 year old me.

^ lol I shudder to think what kids' eyes are exposed to these days

I was at a party last Saturday and met a professional poker player who said he was smoking hash with his aunt at the age of 11. We were smoking hash and he was like, 'ah this is like old times, reminds of me of being like 10 or 11." I was like wtf?

thinking of this thread I suddenly remembered this bitch:
