Whats cooking tonight?

Postby Vutulaki » Sat Mar 04, 2017 7:52 am

Making this gem for dinner tonight, very important to let your pasta cool maybe "halfway" before adding the egg and cheese mix or as he says you end up with scrambled eggs and pasta as I learned the hard way.

For myself Ill have a side of chopped half ripe tomato heavily peppered and salted as a salad maybe with some chopped red onion

I did Christmas dinner and Prime Rib with Autumn vegetables for Valentine's day. The wife and kid are blown away when I step up in the kitchen, still. I love that.

You want to pre-soak them in a vinegar base for at least a day before grilling, then rub them with some salt, pepper and garlic.

A little oil in the wok and high heat is the key. Don't be shy with the oyster sauce.

Bowser never tasted so good.

I can't cook worth shit, but am completely spoiled in this house (Wife + sister-in-law both cook well). When my wife's family visits from Brasil its even crazier because they are ALL great cooks and enjoy taking turns in the kitchen and feeding me lol

Brasilian food is totally delicious.

That being said, I can also be perfectly satisfied with simple/fresh foods just fine, and would likely still not learn to cook any better if I were single. Just too lazy I think, + my olafactory senses are pretty much gone because of all the herbs I've smoked lol

My mother-in-law's tortellini is so good, Som Pong foresaw it in an astral-projected vision.

TRUE STORY, there is proof somewhere here I just don't remember what the thread is

Lunch consisted of one chorizo sausage, bacon and 6 fried eggs

Gonna have some leafy greens in an hour to push it all through
