Awesome! Have fun Masato!

How old are the kids? If they are still young.....it would probably be a good idea to break down ways to fall (Show them examples of possible things that may happen) - maybe show them ways to brace themselves should the board go out from under their feet, lots concussions and even more serious injuries occur from head trauma. ...and the mind is the base of all our creative forces! ...So wouldnt hurt to do a quick break down for the young bucks coming up.

Other then that!! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys

My kids are still learning, so they ski (not snowboard). I was planning on snowboarding because its what I used to do, but my daughter wanted me to ski (I have been using skis for their sake while they were learning and I guess she was used to it)

So I rented skis instead. Was a bit bummed about it but ended up having a lot of fun. Skiing is so easy and relaxing, lol -snowboarding takes so much more work. We are going again in a few weeks, now I wonder what I wanna do lol

You're prolly back already, but I'm still jelly. Snowboarding sounds like a lot of fun and a great opportunity to do some showboating, eh?

I have yet to find a snowboard game that even comes close to satiating my nostalgia

They are all based on dumb tricks and courses and clocks etc

what would be good is just a plain realistic game where one can freeride on a virtual ski resort. No challenges, no tracks, no coins to fucking collect - just big mountain/deep powder terrain and realistic physics.

I would play that shit for hours

OK, just got back from trip #2 (with kids)

Once again, my daughter wanted me to ski, not snowboard (she had some weird fears I would get hurt or something)

So I gave in and rented skis for Day 1 (overnight trip).

SNOWED ALL FUCKIN NIGHT. Wake up, see some dude making powder turns on his board and couldn't take it anymore. Asked my daughter if she could please be OK, I promised to be with her/help her/not do stupid tricks. She agreed.

Traded in the skis for a board and had more fun than I could ever guess. Been so long since I felt a board under my feet, and had soft snow to add to the pleasure. Was laughing all fuckin day, was GREAT.

We all had a great day and my daughter's unsubstantiated fear is gone. Will be riding from this day forward. So pumped!

True story - I once suffered a minor injury playing this game

I'm pretty sure I'd get Sonny Bono'd on the bunny slopes if I ever skied or snowboarded in real life.
