I never understood the dinosaur obsession. Granted they are fascinating... but I knew a few kids/people growing up that went really bananas for the, lol.

I get more interested in the historicity of the dinosaurs relative to man. I am not willing to believe/accept 100% the 'official' timeline of history as we've been told, yet dinosaurs still remain a mystery in my exploration of ancient times. I really hope one day we can somehow discover once and for all how this planet and our people became what we are. Our knowledge of history is so new, we barely know anything until it all becomes myths, legends, and huge speculations based on scraps of fossils.

I read an article a few years back saying that scientists were going to create a pseudo-dinosaur by disabling some of the mutation genes in modern birds to expose their ancient physical form(Flying dinosaurs survived extinction and evolved into birds).

- Those dam scientists:

Archaeopteryx was a specie of dinosaur, they say it was the first bird.

There were found 9 species of this bird, some scientists claim it was more of a dino than bird thought.
