I have had a fascination for ireland for some time. One of the biggest influences on my coming-of-age was an Irishman I knew who kind of saved my ass one night, and later made a tape for me once from his Dad's old LP's of Irish 'Rebel music'. He told me all the stories of what the songs were about, I used to pack that in my walkman many a-day.... unfortunately the tape got wrecked but I still carry that charisma of Ireland. I almost went to the University of Cork for a year on an exchange program but figured out late that it was too expensive. Also been a huge Sinead O'Conner and Shane McGowan fan forever

One day I will go for sure.

I'm part Irish. I went there for college. My family is from Cork, actually.

This guy, John McCourt, was a former IRA member and was present at Bloody Sunday in Derry. He gave us a tour of the town.

^^ wtf, that is awesome

I love mountains, man. Grew up in BC Canada living with them all around, snowboarding in the every winter. Now I'm in Ontario where its flat as fuck lol these people have no comprehension

Went to Switzerland a few years ago, those mountains were amazing. None of my pictures captured how huge they were. Mountains always tend to calm me down, they bring peace, make our troubles seem so temporary

Here are some pics from my days in Swiss-land

These mountains were HUGE. My cheap-ass camera somehow shrunk it all down:

Half of them are from Petra in Jordan(ya one of the Indie movies had some scenes here) and the other half are from the Arabian desert near Wadi Rum.

- They said that the internal scene were filmed at a studio, it's true?

^Yes, the internal scenes were most definitely not done in the structures they were supposed to be in the movie. Most of these structures only have vast open space inside with a doorway or a window opening here or there.

I just use paint.net to resize images. Select the whole image with the box select tool then drag the corner to shrink or expand it, then save it. It messes with the resolution but its quick and easy.
