Re: Che Yay or Nay?

No I didn't hear that theory. Wouldn't it be easy enough to make a DNA test to find out? Shouldn't think it would be too hard to get DNA from a fork or something.

Re: Che Yay or Nay?

Dunno about Che, my personal take is that he was a sincere but mistaken person. Castro on the other hand, it's said that he was actually working to further the US agenda, controlled opposition (atheist communism). So the Bay of Pigs was supposed to fail.

Re: Praise be to Krishna!!! :D

The whole time there was absolutely nothing to do but wait and/or pray... and for some reason I felt inspired to pass the time chanting the Hare Krishna mantra quietly to myself: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare (translation as far as I un...

Re: Evolution?

Firstly atmospheric conditions were so different that we wouldnt really know if they flew or not. But wings arent just for flying. Big heavy things like dinos might have developed wings to help them run up hills, or to jump and flap to propel themselves further like chickens, or even to glide from ...

Re: Evolution?

Think of the time spans involved. I'm not sure the time span really matters. Having useless wings would present no survival advantage and there would be no reason why dinosaurs with useless wings would breed with other dinosaurs with useless wings (rather than those without). Well, unless for some ...

Re: Occultist heretic church holding an event in Toronto this weekend

I don't know if it's creepy because of Samael but some of his so-called followers have been pretty bizarre. There was one guy who claimed to be the spirit of Beelzebub. Samael tells the story of redeeming Beelzebub from the hell he's been living in for however many aeons, says that Beelzebub will be...

Re: Occultist heretic church holding an event in Toronto this weekend

Beware the cult of personality So I'm kind of one of those occultist heretics. There probably is a bit of a cult of personality to Samael in some circles but it isn't something he sought, he said "Don't follow me, I am just a signpost, seek your own self-realization". One thing I would wa...

Re: Anarchist City in Mexico

I thought this was going to be something about the Zapatistas when I read the title. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zapatista_Army_of_National_Liberation It's interesting that the word anarchy can be used both to describe a state of lawlessness and also a form of social living without hierachies. Of ...
